Free Yoplait

I saw a great deal on Hip2Save and I wanted to post it just in case you missed it. A free cup of yogurt. Hey who doesn't like free! :) Wow I just read a few comments on there and I guess a few people don't like free, but I do!!

Go HERE and fill out your info for the free cup.

Been Awhile

Man I have really been slacking with this lately. The new position for the holidays at work is taking up a lot of my time and I haven't been able to do as many deals lately. I will try to start posting some of the deals I see so at least you guys can get in on them! The few deals I have been doing I haven't posted, because this computer doesn't have a slot for my memory card for my camera and since I haven't been using the other one for work it is put up. I hope you all are still scoring some great deals!

Here's my pumkin candles I was so excited to get. I'm weird I know. Once it starts getting cold outside I can't wait to buy some pumpkin candles. I wish this was scratch and sniff. They smell SOOO good :) Just thought I'd share. Have a great weekend everyone!

Cheap Lotion at Kroger

There is a catalina going on at Kroger right now. Buy 2 Suave lotion get $2 to use on your next order. They have the small ones at my Kroger for $1.09. Some other sites have reported them as low as .99. I had an OYNO from the Ziploc for $1.50. One thing I want to point out that you may already know is these are nothing like Walgreens Register Rewards. You can use the same one on your order and still get another. So you can buy one set of these and turn around and buy another, use your $2 OYNO and get another one. Have fun! There are 2 different kinds at my store. See picture :) Here's mine:

2 Suave lotion $1.09 ea

- $1.50 OYNO

=.84 (.16 is tax) Get $2 OYNO.

Now you could go get 2 more and use the $2 OYNO from this order and pay .18 + tax and get another $2 OYNO! If your stores price is lower it's even better! Keep rolling as much as you want or use the $2 on anything else you need in the store. The nice thing with OYNO's is they are great to use on products you don't usually get coupons for like meat. Have fun shopping!! :)

10/3/2010 Coupon Inserts

This weekend there should be three inserts in the paper again. There should be a Red Plum, Smart Source and General Mills. Remember the General Mills insert is regional so it may not be in your paper. Here is a link to a coupon preview on another site. Remember coupons are regional. :)

This Is How We Roll :)

Alright here are some tips on how to roll register rewards. What you want to do first is try to find the best/cheapest product to start out with. The free after register reward items are a great way to start.

~Make sure that you don't use the same register reward to buy a product that you got the register reward from. For Example. If you buy the Full Bar and get the $2 RR don't use the $2 RR from the Full Bar to buy another Full Bar.

~Remember you have to have the same amount of items as you do manufacturer's coupons. A register reward is considered a manufacturer's coupon. Walgreen's coupons aren't included.

~The amount of your purchase BEFORE tax has to be more than the amount of the register reward.

~You can only get ONE register reward per item per transaction. You can get multiple register reward deals for different items in one transaction, but not the same one. For example the Fullbar is $1.99 get $2.00 register reward. If you buy 2 Full Bars in one transaction you will only get ONE register reward.

~Fillers are a big part of using register rewards. You will need these if your total BEFORE taxes is lower then the amount of the register reward. For example. If you wanted to use the $2 RR from Pantene to buy the Full Bar you would need a filler, because the Full Bar is $1.99. So you want to find the cheapest product possible to bring your amount to over $2.

Another reason to use a filler is if you are using a register reward on an item you have a manufacturer's coupon for. Because as everyone knows we can't use TWO manufacturer's items on ONE item. So you would buy the cheapest thing possible so that the register reward can attach itself to that item.

~Another thing that seems to be happening a lot is with P&G items. If you use a register reward from a P&G item on another P&G item sometimes the register reward won't print. So I try to just avoid doing that. If you are buying newspapers you should have seen a P&G insert so you know that there are a lot of P&G items. Just be careful. Here's a list of their products just in case.

Now you can do this anyway that you would like, but the best way in my opinion is doing small transactions. This way you have the lowest out of pocket (oop) as possible. I will try to come up with some scenarios for next week.

If you would like to go tomorrow (Saturday) to pick up a free after register reward item to get started, here are a few that are available. Remember tomorrow is the last day to do these. If you would rather wait that is fine. :)

Fullbar Fit Appetite Control Bar 1.76 oz $1.99 = $1.99 RR (will actually be $2)

Emergen-C Vitamin C Supplement 10 pk $3.49 = $3.49 RR (will actually be $3.50)

Hyland's Cold 'n Cough 4 Kids 4 oz $4.99 = $4.99 RR (will actually be $5)

All register rewards are rounded up even though the ad shows them the above way. Now if you go to buy one of these to get started out for next week you won't need a filler since you are only buying ONE item and not using any coupons. The register reward will print out after you pay.

It can be a little confusing at first, but once you start doing it it will be like second nature. Remember you can always leave a comment or email me if you have any questions. :)

Phone Call Today

Well I got a phone call from someone (can't remember his name) from when I emailed Wal-Mart regarding my shopping trip. He tells me that their policy doesn't apply to sizes on products, and that as long as the coupon doesn't exclude trial size I can use it to buy the product. NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT COSTS. Hmmm isn't that what I tried to tell Miss Know It All cashier?? So I told him, yes I realize that. I tried to explain it to the cashier, CSM and the mystery person over the walkie-talkie thingy...:) He told me he had a meeting with all of the CSM's explaining to them how the policy works and made them all sign it. So we shall see. At least I got a call back. I also told him that I KNOW how coupons work and that I wouldn't try to use a coupon fraudulently. I mean we get so much stuff using coupons legally why would we try to use them incorrectly. Doesn't make sense. Anyway I told him I tried to explain it and he said next time ask for the "co-manager" if I have any problems. So within the next couple of days I will try again. Hopefully we get a better outcome this time! :)

Walgreens Trip #3

Yep I went again..lol Here's what I got:

1 Vick's Synex $6.00 - $4 q= $2.00

1 Halloween Activity book .33 w/in ad q

-$2 RR from Clorox

Not sure of the exact total, because there was a problem with the Vick's being in the wrong spot so the one I got rang up wrong and when they did the refund they kept the receipt. :( It should be the .33 + tax though. AND I got a $2 RR from the Vick's. I wish I had more coupons for this one, but with the bad papers I got last weekend I only had one P&G. Oh well :)

Family Dollar Trip 9/30/10

Walgreens Trips 9/30/10

Alright I wanted to roll that $2 register reward I got from the Swiffer deal. After I post the shopping trips I did today I will do a post explaining how to roll them a little better for those who don't know. This picture is two different transactions. I wish they would have had more of the Pantene! They only had the 2 bottles left. Here's what I got:

All You Magazine

I know most of you have probably heard of All You magazine. I just got the October issue in the mail today so I decided to do a quick post for those of you that may not know about it. This is a great magazine for us bargain hunters! The first and most important thing about this magazine is it is chock full of coupons!! You all know that is enough for me to buy it. :) Well it also has a lot of great articles about saving money! The magazine only costs about $2.25. You can only buy it at Walmart (good luck using the coupons there though..lol hahaha) You can also subscribe for about $15 a month. The October issue isn't out in the store yet I don't believe but it should be soon. Be sure to check it out. The October issue has $88.22 worth of coupons! The nice thing is the third page lists all the coupons that are included. It's a great magazine! Check it out!

You can also check out All You online. They have daily freebies, printable coupons and tips online.

You can get 2 free trial issues here. Be sure to cancel it after the first two or they will send a bill.

9/26 Coupon Inserts

There will be three newspaper inserts this weekend. Red Plum, Smart Source and P&G. Good weekend for the papers :) Here's a preview from Deal Seeking Mom of what may be included. Looks like some good ones this weekend!

@$&# Walmart!!!

Oh I am SOOOO mad. I spent at least an hour and a half finding all my deals at Walmart tonight. I don't get to get over there very often, because it's about 20 -25 mins away. Anyway. I had a bunch of stuff. I get to the checkout. The lady is all nice ringing up my stuff and smiling. I reach over and pull my coupons out of my purse. Her face changes. She takes them out of my hand before she is even done ringing up my stuff! She starts flipping through them and she is shaking her head and setting them off to the side. Not saying a word or looking at me or anything. Finally I say "Why are you shaking your head and setting them aside?" She says "You can't buy a $1 item with a $2 coupon." I say "The coupon says $2/2." *sigh* "Well I have to ask" is her reply. Then along comes miss know it all CSM. The cashier says "She is trying to buy all the small stuff with the coupon. It's not full size." CSM takes the coupon, looks at it, looks at me and says "You can't use coupons on trial size." Me "Where does it say that?" Miss Know it All CSM gets on her little walky talky thingy attached to her collar "Can we take coupons on trial size items?" The wizard of oz answers. I can't hear her. Miss Know it all CSM "You can't use coupons on trial size" Anyone who really knows me can probably guess how I am by now :) Me "Where does it say that?" Miss Know It All CSM "We don't take them." So I tell them I don't want any of their $#%@ if they don't know how things work. Miss Know it All CSM walks away. I tell cashier that these coupons don't exclude trial size and ask her if she would like to see a coupon that excludes trial size. :) B Cashier "It has been decided" Me "What is your corporate number?" B Cashier "I don't know" Me "You don't know your corporate number?" B Cashier "no" OMG I took everything out of my cart and put it on the spinny thing and walked away. I was STEAMED to say the least. I wasted all my time and gas. Oh I was so mad. So then I wrote down the cashiers name. Walked over to the CSM and wrote down her name. Then I say "Can I have the name of whoever you were talking to over your walkie talkie" She gives me name. I'm outta there. So I am definitely going to be contacting Walmarts customer service. If I would have known their corporate number I would have held up the entire line and called them right there. I will keep you posted. :) Thanks for listening to me rant. LOL

Coupon Train

Thanks to all that joined! The train has arrived at it's first stop and should be rolling off to the number 3 spot Monday! Remember if you have any questions feel free to email me anytime! I hope this train helps you get some coupons that you know you want and a few of those hard to find ones! :)

Great Sites to Join

I just wanted to share a few sites with everyone. These are sites where they send you products to try and you submit reviews, or you host a party with their products and then fill out a survey and let them know how your party went, what you did etc. These are all free to join and I am only including sites that I have actually received items from. Warning: only visit these sites if you like free stuff (hahaha I'm a dork I know). Have fun!!

Kraft First Taste This is a site where you sign up to try out new products from Kraft! Sometimes you will receive free coupons and sometimes it is just high value coupons. They don't just mail the coupons out automatically. They usually email you when an offer is available and then you go to the site and let them know yes you want it and confirm your address. I have received a lot of free item coupons including: Digiorno Deep Dish, Homestyle Mac & Cheese, Crackerfuls, Philly Mini's, etc.

Houseparty This is a great site! There are multiple parties available to apply for. Only apply once per PARTY. You can apply for as many parties as you'd like though! It's very simple and they send you a great party pack full of stuff for your party! You don't find out if you are accepted right away. They email you about a month or so before the party date and let you know you are a host! I am hosting a Capri Sun party so yes you do actually get picked! I will post a pic later of everything that came in that party pack!

Vocalpoint This is a site where you receive samples of products or coupons for products to try out and review. I have received Bounce Dryer Bars, Pantene, Crystal Light, and much more. They also include some high value coupons with the samples so that you can give them out to friends and family so they can try the product also.

My Get Together This is another party site. You apply to host a party and they send you out a party pack! I mean who doesn't love a party and a party where you get free stuff is even better! I was chosen as a Chex Mix party host! I will post a pic of what I received in this party pack later also. This is also a part of Pssst which is General Mills place for testing products and reviewing them.

BzzAgent This is a site to try out all kinds of products. They call them campaigns. I've only done one campaign so far and it didn't have anything that was mailed to my house. I know a lot of people that do this though and they have received a lot of items to try. I am a newbie on this site :)

I may be missing a few. If I think of any I will let you know. If you are a member of any of these sites leave a comment and let us know what you've received!! Now go register at these sites and get the freebies rolling! :)

Hartz Dog Treat Recall

(CNN) -- A leading pet product company has issued a voluntary recall of nearly 75,000 bags of dog treats due to salmonella concerns, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The move by Hartz Mountain Corp. came after random sample testing by the FDA indicated the presence of salmonella organisms in one or more 8-ounce bags of Hartz Naturals Real Beef Treats for Dogs.
The company, based in Secaucus, New Jersey, has not received any reports of animals or people becoming ill as a result of contact with the treats, and is investigating the source of the potential contamination.
The potentially affected treats are stamped with the lot code BZ0969101E, according to the FDA.
Hartz is urging dog owners who have purchased the recalled treats to immediately throw them away.
The FDA advises dog owners whose pets are exhibiting such symptoms as fever, diarrhea, abdominal pain and nausea to seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Consumers with questions regarding the recall should contact Hartz at 1-800-275-1414.

Coupon Train

Hey Guys! Jackie and I are interested in getting a coupon train set up. For those of you that aren't familiar with what a coupon train is you would make a wishlist of either coupons you are looking for or just products you use that you would want coupons for. Then every week you would get an envelope of coupons together and mail them to someone on the list and then you would get an envelope of coupons from someone else. This is a great way to get rid of some of the coupons you won't use and get more of the ones you need.

Right now Jackie and I are just in the beginning stages and trying to figure out who is interested. We haven't decided exactly how it will be run yet, but we would like to see how many people are interested.

If you are interested or you know anyone that is let me know!! Also let me know if you have any questions!!

New Coupon Site

There is a great new coupon site that just went live about 8 days ago! It is run by a wonderful lady I met on a different site. Everyone on there is so great! You should check it out! Be sure to check out the Family Dollar and Dollar General Forums! :)

Have Coupons Will Travel

My name on there is Morefree4me!

No Coupons this weekend!!

I just wanted to make sure everyone knows there won't be any inserts in this weekend's newspaper. :( There are a lot of printables you can score right now though! Some of them you will have to register to be able to print coupons. I hope you all have your coupon email!!

Target (Don't forget you can stack Target store coupons with manu coupons for more savings)

*all of the coupons on Target's site are not Target store coupons. I go to Totally Target's site and she lists if they are manu or store coupons so you know before you print.

Coupons.com (it shows 224 coupons available for my zip!!)

Red Plum

Smart Source

Keebler Fudge Shop Coconut Dreams Cookies $1/1

Betty Crocker Stock Up & Save up to $70

All You

BTFE Stock Up & Save up to $26

Remember to sign up at manufacturer's sites for newsletters and they will email you coupons! You can also write to companies letting them know how much you like their products and some of them will send you coupons!!
