Well this was my 2nd trip to Kroger this day. The first time I tried to run there between shifts at work I FORGOT my coupons! Can you believe that! I thought I had the envelope & list in my purse, but nope. Oh well. I ran again after my 2nd shift that day and of course since it was the night of the last day of the sale there wasn't much. It's not the lowest oop or the greatest trip, because I had to pick up stuff hubby wanted.
Here's what I got:
2 2 packs french bread from bakery .79 ea (managers special - no q)
Cheetos $2.18 (no q)
TGIF Jalapeno Potato Skins $2.15 - $1.50 q = .65
Kroger Potato Chips $1 (no q)
Lays Cheddar Sour Cream chips $2.28 (no q)
2 Country Crock Margarine $1 - (2) .40 q doubled = .20 ea
Kroger Pickles $1.99 (no q)
2 McCormick Grill Mates $1.25 - (2) .50 q doubled = .25 ea (they have the marinades $1 so you could get these free, but I prefer the spices I can use more than once)
2 Tabasco Hot Sauce $1 - .50 q doubled = free
1 Delallo Lemon Juice $1.39 - (2) .50 q doubled = .39
2 Men's Speedstick $1 - (2) .50 q doubled= free
Total = $13.12
Total Savings: $17.53 (57% savings)
I'm not sure if any of you have tried to email me, but I haven't received emails for two days so I went to one of my other accounts and tried to send an email to test it, and I got a message that it is temporarily suspended! I don't know why. That is insane! I am so mad that is where I get all my emails now! :( Hopefully I will get it figured out. There is a game here to spin to win Hot Tamales candy. There doesn't appear to be a limit you can just keep spinning. I did it for about 2 minutes and didn't win so I gave up for now. Well I decided to run to Walgreens and get a few more of the deals, but they were out of pretty much everything.
Here's what I got:
1 Plackers $2 - .50 q = $1.50
1 Tone Body wash $3.99 (no q)
1 Newspaper .75 (Oh yeah after seeing it had 3 inserts this was the best filler I could think of!!)
-$5 RR & $1 RR
= .66 (.42 is tax) get $4 RR & $2 RR
Total savings w/o new RR's = $8.69
I ran to Family Dollar to use the last of my hair color coupons before they expired. I don't have any plans at the moment to dye my hair, but that could change and if it does I will have free hair dye to do it! lol The CoverGirl is missing from the picture for some reason...????
Here's what I got:
6 Clairol Hair Dye 2.50 ea - (3) $5/2 q's = all free!
2 Dawn Dish Detergent $1.10 - .50 q = .60 ea
1 Snuggle Fabric Softener $3 - $3 q=free
1 CoverGirl 2 pk eyeliners $2.50 (I used a $1 q, but it didn't come off) I need these though so I kept them. Of course I didn't notice it didn't come off until I got home. Oh well you win some you lose some.
Total: $5.40 ($1.70 is tax)
Total Savings: $19.50
Wow! I bought my local paper that usually only has the Smart Source in it and it had all 3! I was so surprised!
This week the paper will have a Smart Source, Red Plum and P&G so be prepared for A LOT of great coupons!
Oh, and the Parade even had coupons in it! So if you get one of those magazines in your Sunday paper be sure to check and see if there are coupons in it before throwing it away. Mine has:
