Well I have been reading on so many different sites all of these different issues people are having shopping at Walmart. It just makes me crazy. I haven't even really done any couponing since my last bad trip I had there (which was last year). The thing is I don't agree with the way people are being treated so I wrote a little note on their site. Here's what I wrote:
"I just have a general question for corporate. I don't have an issue with a specific store since my last bad coupon experience with your store I just take my business to other stores that gladly accept my coupons. Anyway I have heard so many horror stories regarding the cashiers at your stores all across the country. I am wondering if it is in your policy to allow your cashiers to treat customers that way? I have heard numerous reports of cashiers referring to someone using coupons as "you people" also accusing them of stealing, fraud etc. I really think that it is time for your company to retrain your cashiers and put a copy of your policy at all of the registers. There is absolutely no reason for people to have to be scared or humiliated because they are trying to provide for their families. I am just sick by all of this. Also it would be nice if you would pass along that most people that coupon don't like that Extreme Couponing show either and are not trying to do anything besides provide for their families. Thanks."
I know this probably won't do anything, but if I just think it and don't do anything then I'm not helping anything. :)
Who doesn't like to save money? I know we do! I started this to show what kind of deals I find, new ways I'm trying to make money and anything I come across to save us money!

Phone Call Today

Well I got a phone call from someone (can't remember his name) from when I emailed Wal-Mart regarding my shopping trip. He tells me that their policy doesn't apply to sizes on products, and that as long as the coupon doesn't exclude trial size I can use it to buy the product. NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT COSTS. Hmmm isn't that what I tried to tell Miss Know It All cashier?? So I told him, yes I realize that. I tried to explain it to the cashier, CSM and the mystery person over the walkie-talkie thingy...:) He told me he had a meeting with all of the CSM's explaining to them how the policy works and made them all sign it. So we shall see. At least I got a call back. I also told him that I KNOW how coupons work and that I wouldn't try to use a coupon fraudulently. I mean we get so much stuff using coupons legally why would we try to use them incorrectly. Doesn't make sense. Anyway I told him I tried to explain it and he said next time ask for the "co-manager" if I have any problems. So within the next couple of days I will try again. Hopefully we get a better outcome this time! :)

Free Dog Food!
If your dog eats Mighty Dog then this is a great week to stock up! I got all excited when I saw the coupon for the free can of Mighty Dog in the paper. Turns out that $3/5 coupon may as well say "5 free cans!!" So even if you only bought one Sunday paper this week that just gave you 6 cans of Mighty Dog for free!! I only know of 2 stores for sure that you can get them free, but I'm betting it is pretty much any store.
Family Dollar and Dollar General have the Mighty Dog on sale 5/$3 so that one just flip it and there is your coupon! LOL
Wal-Mart has these for .57ea (2.85/5) so they are paying you to buy the dog food!
AND don't forget there is a coupon for FREE 6 0z or 9 oz pouch of Purina Pure Plan Dry Dog Food or Dry Cat Food, any variety.
I just love free coupons!!
You may want to save the ones that actually say free on them (not the $3/5) for a BOGO store sale, because then that coupon turns into 2 free! yay!!
